Welcome to Junior Cheer at CCA! This program is for students in grades K-5. Our WINTER cheer squad will be learning cheers and stunts to perform during a basketball halftime show! Our squad will cheer in one main event at the end of this season.

All cheerleaders this season will need a current full uniform (pictured above) that still fits. We’ll be using a team set of poms this season, so cheerleaders will not need their own set.
If you have a new cheerleader, you’ll have the opportunity to add a uniform below.
**Be sure you have the current uniform! If you have a hand me down uniform from a friend, or have purchased one from the used uniform store, please confirm that it matches the uniforms you see on this webpage.**
To order a Junior CCA Cheer uniform (including shell top, skirt, bloomers, and hair bow), please select the option below for $40. If you only need one new piece (like a replacement hair bow), you’ll have an opportunity to order those items individually.
We also encourage cheerleaders to wear their cheer uniforms on Fridays for CCA Spirit Days!
Cheer practices begin the week of January 13th. Our last practice will be March 5th.
On your child’s practice day they will meet our coaches in Cornerstone’s elementary building. Kindergarteners and first graders will be escorted from their classrooms. From there, they will go with our coaches to the on campus practice location (TBD).
Athletic shoes are required for practices. Cheer specific shoes are recommended, but not required. Many parents ask for shoe suggestions- this shoe is perfect for our practices and games.
Parent pickup for Monday and Tuesday practices is at 4pm. On early release Wednesdays, pickup is at 3pm.
