SPRING 2024 CHEER

March 25 - May 11

Welcome to Junior Cheer at CCA! This program is for students in grades K-5. Our SPRING cheer squad will be learning cheers to perform during basketball games! Basketball game dates are May 4th and 11th.

If you have a returning cheerleader with a current full uniform (pictured above) that still fits, then your price is $130. The season price for a new cheerleader is $165. This includes all practices, games and a full uniform. A full uniform includes shell top, skirt, bloomers, hairbow and poms. If your cheerleader’s uniform is not what is pictured above, please select the $165 option. If you only need one new piece (like a replacement hairbow or poms), you’ll have an opportunity to order those items individually.

Cheer practices will begin the week of March 25th. This is the first week after students return from Spring Break. Our last practice will be May 8th.

Practice Day Info

Due to choreography differences between age groups, practice days will be divided by grade this season. Practice days will be as follows:

Mondays: Kindergarten and 1st Grades
Wednesdays: 2nd through 5th Grades

On your child’s practice day they will meet our coaches in Cornerstone’s Elementary building. Kindergarteners and 1st graders will be escorted from their classrooms. From there, they will go with our coaches to the on campus practice location. This location will be determined closer to our season start date, but we will always remain on CCA’s campus.

Cheerleaders will practice in their school uniform. Athletic shoes are required for practices. White cheer shoes are preferred, but not required.

Pick up from Monday practices is at 4pm. On early release Wednesdays, pick up is at 3pm and on late release Wednesdays, pick up is at 4pm. More detailed info on practices will be sent in our Welcome Email. Please email youth@sportsplus4us.com with any questions!

It's important to note that our coaches do not have access to your child's records through CCA and the Cornerstone Charter Health Office will not be open after hours. Should a medical emergency arise, parents will be contacted to pick up their child immediately and medical emergency personnel will be notified when necessary.
