Welcome to Junior Ducks Cheer at CCA! Our spring K-5 cheer squad will learn cheers, chants and a choreographed dance routine to perform during basketball season!

PRACTICE DAY INFO

Cheer practices begin the week of January 20th. Our last practice will be March 5th.

GRADES K-2 practice Tuesdays each week. Practice ends at 5pm.

GRADES 3-5 practice Wednesdays each week. Practice ends at 4pm.

On your child’s practice day, a cheer coach will pick up all students in grades K-2 directly from their classrooms. Grades 3-5 will meet our coaches on Cornerstone’s campus in a designated room. Our practice location may change from time to time, but our pick up location will always be announced on the Band app.

UNIFORMS AND PRICING

All cheerleaders will need a 2025/26 season uniform from this school year (see photos above) including white uniform bow.  We’ll use a team set of poms this season, so cheerleaders will not need their own set.

RETURNING cheerleaders ($120) from the fall season will not need a new uniform.

NEW cheerleaders ($195) who did not cheer with us in the fall will receive a new uniform this season! A full cheer uniform includes shell top, skirt, bloomers, and hair bow.

We always encourage cheerleaders to wear their cheer uniforms on Fridays during cheer season for CCA Spirit Days!

WHAT TO BRING TO PRACTICE

• Athletic clothing to change into before practice.
• Cheer specific shoes are strongly recommended for practices and games/performances. Many parents ask for shoe suggestions- this shoe is perfect for our practices and games. Cheer shoes are just as important to have at practices as they are at games- if you buy them, please send them for practices!
• Water bottles are a must on practice days!
