Welcome to Little Ducks Cheer at CCA! This program is for students in Pre-K through 5th grades. Our fall cheer squad will learn cheers, chants and band dances to perform during Varsity Football Games and lower school Flag Football Games! Our lower school game dates are TBD. Varsity Games begin at 7PM on the Friday evenings listed below. Our CCA home games this year all have themes and we have fun things planned for each of them from glittering military appreciation bows to neon pom lights!
8/29- Blackout Game-Grades 3-5
9/19- Military Appreciation Game-Grades K-2
9/26- Neon Game-Grades 3-5
10/10- Homecoming Game-Grades K-2 and 3-5 Cheer
10/17- Senior Night-Grades 3-5
Pre-K Cheerleaders from the 3s and 4s class are welcome at practices, but will not cheer in Varsity Football games.
NEW UNIFORMS THIS YEAR!
ALL cheerleaders will receive a new uniform this season! The season price is $195. This includes all practices, games and a full uniform. A full cheer uniform includes shell top, skirt, bloomers, hair bow, and poms.
Our cheerleaders will use the same uniform and poms for football season this fall and basketball season in the spring. We also encourage cheerleaders to wear their cheer uniforms on Fridays for CCA Spirit Days!
Cheer practices will begin the week of August 11th. Parents have the option to sign up for practices on either Mondays or Wednesdays. Preschool cheer will be offered on Wednesdays only.
PRACTICE DAY INFO
On your child’s practice day, a cheer coach will pick up all students in grades Pre-K, K and 1 directly from their classrooms. Grades 2-5 will meet our coaches on Cornerstone’s campus. With the new construction, our designated spot may change, but teachers and staff will be sure students know where to go.
From there, they will go with our coaches to the on campus practice field. Cheerleaders have the option to change into athletic clothes immediately after school. Athletic shoes are required for practices. Cheer shoes are preferred, but not required.
PICK UP TIMES
Parent pick up for Monday practices is now at 5PM. On early release Wednesdays, pick up is at 4PM. If there is a late release Wednesday, pick up will be at 5PM.
